Generally speaking, CNC machine tools are composed of machine tool body, CNC system (CNC system is the core of CNC machine tool, it is a special computer), drive device and auxiliary device. The basic functions of the CNC system include input function, interpolation function and servo control. Its working process is: after receiving the CNC program through the input function, it is combined with the data of the tool setting parameters, control parameters and compensation parameters that the operator has set on the panel to decode, and perform logical operations, and convert them into a series of logical circuits. Signal, which sends out corresponding command pulses to control the driving device of the machine tool, make each axis of the machine tool move, and operate the machine tool to realize the expected processing function.
After the mold designer designs a 3D mold (also called parting) based on the customer's product drawing, he needs to program the mold drawing file by CNC. After confirming the size of the machining tool and the way of cutting and passing, the NC program can be compiled with UG. This numerical control program is a text file with codes that can be recognized by the machine tool. After the machine tool operator receives the program sheet and the CNC program, he must clamp the workpiece on the CNC machine tool table as required, install the tool on the spindle, set the tool as required, and set the tool setting parameters on the machine tool panel according to the specific machine tool. After the individual instructions are modified, the NC program is transferred to the machine tool through the network DNC. The cutting tool on the machine tool performs cutting motion under the control of these numerical control instructions, and other cooling systems work synchronously, so that after the execution of one program after another, the mold is processed.
